From the desk of the Grand Knight
As we begin to wind down the 2007-2008 fraternal year, I would like to once again invite each of you to try to attend our monthly meetings. It was a great pleasure to see a number of new faces at our April meeting as many our long-time members returned to take part in the meeting and lend their opinions to our debates. I would like to thank Don Tessier for exemplifying our Order's principal of Unity. Don took it upon himself to call many of our members and invite them to the meeting. His efforts led to one of our most highly attended meetings in quite some time and gave many of our newest members a chance to meet and interact with those members who helped make our Council what it is today.
I would especially encourage each of you to attend our May meeting as we will be hearing the nominations committee recommendations for officers in the 2008-2009 fraternal year. This is your opportunity to voice your opinion and help to elect and meet our leaders for the next year. I hope to see each of you there.
